Noriko Endo is here – Welcome Noriko, we’re
very excited and looking forward to your wonderful “confetti Naturescapes 2-day
class.
Noriko is an artist from Japan who, from a
photograph, creates beautiful art quilts with tiny little scraps of
fabric. It is amazing how a scene
develops into a piece of art. She loves
nature and trees and spends a lot of her
time photographing forests and landscapes for her gorgeous quilts.
MPPI have invited Noriko to share her
technique and consequently we’re having a two-day workshop with her on April 15
and 16. We’ll keep updating this part of
the blog and we hope to share what we learn and achieve with local High Schools
who have textiles on their curriculum.
