TRADITION ........ It has become just that. Every year on the Second Monday of May MPPI conduct
an event, in the form of a "Shoe Box Auction", to raise funds for the Anti Cancer Council, and this year we'll do it again. The event will be held on Monday May 13, 2013 at the "Studio@PCT", Mornington Peninsula Theatre Complex, Cnr. Nepean Highway and Wilsons Road, Mornington starting at 10.00am.
We are looking forward to another day of activity and excitement with many ladies wanting to outbid each other to acquire the beautiful boxes kindly donated by the members. This year we shall have the services of Derek Lea and Jarrod Carman of eview Real Estate who have kindly volunteered to conduct the Auction at no cost. We shall also have many raffle prizes donated by our members and the local trade on the Peninsula.
In 2012, thanks to the generosity of all present we managed to raise $4000 for the Cancer Council, a cause very close to many people's hearts and naturally we hope to achieve a similar result.
Visitors are welcome and for a Gold Coin donation you may have a delicious morning tea and cake.
